“One of the most exciting pianists of his generation”
CYRILL’S STORY
Cyrill Ibrahim is a concert pianist hailed by The Daily Telegraph as “one of the most exciting pianists of his generation.” A graduate of the Royal College of Music, Cyrill has performed at major international venues including the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), St John’s Smith Square (London), and the Philharmonie (Berlin). His performances have also reached royal audiences, most notably in a collaborative concert for TM King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Balmoral, and in the premiere of a solo piano version of the Coronation Kyrie at the British Embassy in Rome.
In November 2025, Cyrill will appear in the forthcoming Sky TV documentary Mozart: A Genius for Hire, in which he performs and speaks about Mozart alongside Grammy Award-winning violinist Gil Shaham and soprano Danielle de Niese.
His debut album, Dialogue, has been featured on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM. He has also appeared on BBC One’s The One Show and BBC Radio 3’s In Tune. Cyrill has been profiled in Attitude Magazine as a Rising Star, featured in Tatler’s “Best Dressed in Britain,” and appeared on the cover of Gentleman’s Journal, who described him as “the future of British music.”
As Artist-in-Residence at World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens, Cyrill curates an innovative concert and education series that blends classical repertoire with poetry, visual art, lighting, and narrative performance. His projects integrate live performance with digital storytelling, making classical music accessible, emotionally resonant, and culturally relevant for today’s audiences.
His repertoire spans from Bach to contemporary composers, with a deep focus on Romantic works, French Impressionism, and 20th-century minimalism. His concerto appearances include Mozart’s Piano Concerto in D minor, Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major, and Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto. A passionate advocate for new music, Cyrill regularly performs and commissions modern works that challenge and expand the piano repertoire.
A committed educator, Cyrill founded The Classical Music Collective, an educational platform designed to make classical music accessible to young people from all walks of life. He has taught in schools across the UK, led masterclasses for aspiring pianists, and mentored emerging artists. He is an ambassador for the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and serves on the board of the North Wales International Music Festival.
Cyrill has also built a strong presence in the luxury, cultural, and fashion space, collaborating with brands including Harrods, Eton Shirts, Luca Faloni, Belmond, Church’s, and KEF Audio. His social media following — over 50K on Instagram, 35K on TikTok, and 10K on X — is a central part of his mission to inspire new audiences for classical music worldwide.

In many cases I have seen over my years in education a difficulty in the upkeep of a solid and continuous practice scheme. I have seen t

Why do we practice scales and arpeggios?
Practising scales and arpeggios can be tedious and time consuming. It can seem pointless as the goal is to play pieces and songs that are stimulating to the young performer. DIALOGUE
Dialogue, the debut album of pianist Cyrill Ibrahim, features Bach’s second Partita, Schubert’s A major Sonata (D. 664), Debussy’s first book of the Images, and Schumann’s Allegro, Op. 8. These pieces from the core piano repertoire show the different approaches to the instrument and explore the enormous potential in sound, color, and expression. Cyrill has selected these works because, at different times in his life, they all played an important role. Cyrill has performed both as soloist and a chamber recitalist on the national and international stage for such halls as the Berliner Philharmonie and Concertgebouw in Amsterdam
